Donewell vs Connecteam
Connecteam is an all-in-one workforce app, priced by the number of users. Donewell does one thing, for the whole restaurant at one flat price: it proves the open and the close got done — every item signed off by a named person, a photo on the items that matter, and a morning email listing anything missed. $9.95 a month or $99 a year for one location, with your entire crew on it.

Why restaurants choose Donewell over Connecteam
- Proof, not initials. Every item is signed off on a phone by a named person, with the time it was done. The items that matter take a photo with the camera opened right on the item.
- One flat price for the whole crew. $9.95 a month or $99 a year for one location. No per-user fee, so you never think twice about adding the dishwasher or the new closer.
- Works where kitchens are. Sign-offs save on the phone first and send when there is signal, so the walk-in, the basement and the patio all work.
- You find out by morning. One email the next day lists anything that was not done, so you do not have to go looking.
- Running tonight. Pick a ready-made restaurant template, invite your crew by email, and they are signing off at close. No call, no demo, no card for the trial.

How much does Connecteam cost for a restaurant?
Connecteam is free for up to 10 users. If your crew is more than 10 people, from the 11th user the Operations Hub — where its checklists live — starts at $29 a month billed yearly, or $35 billed monthly. That is $348 a year before any add-on. Donewell is $99 a year for the whole crew, however many people that is.
Do I need an all-in-one app to run a restaurant checklist?
No. Many restaurants already schedule somewhere — a spreadsheet, the POS, a scheduling app. What is usually missing is proof that the close was done. Donewell adds exactly that and nothing else, so the crew learns one screen: the checklist, in the order they walk the building.
How do I switch to Donewell?
- Start the trial and pick a restaurant template — closing, opening, temperature log — or start from a blank list.
- Invite your crew by email. They sign in with a link; there is no password to forget.
- They sign off tonight. You get the first morning email tomorrow.
